There’s never enough time.  Sometimes I wonder how I have time to work at my full time job.  I have so many things that I want to do and not enough time to do them.  I have even more things that I have to do each night after work.  By the time I get those things done, I’m lucky if I have enough time left to do anything else.

One of my biggest challenges is finding time to exercise.  Exercising is important to me, so I try to make time to do it, but that usually means something else doesn’t get done.  The holidays make it even harder to find time.  There is shopping to do, cards to send, decorations to put up, presents to wrap, and family activities to go to.  When you go holiday shopping, park far from the building so you have to walk farther.

There are certain things that we have to do each day.  Then if there is any time left, we can choose what other things we want to do.  Sometimes I choose to exercise, but it’s so easy to choose other things.  There’s always something else that needs to be done.  I know how important exercise is and how good it makes me feel, so I try to do at least 10 minutes each day.  Some tricks to try to find extra time to exercise are getting up earlier (for those morning people); use your lunch break to exercise, or work in some exercise while dinner is cooking.   I used to think I needed a full 30 minutes without interruption to exercise, but I realized that ten minute sessions were just as beneficial.
